The Reindeer Aren't the Only Ones with Antlers

Christmas in New England is almost magical. The scent of wreathes and freshly trimmed Christmas trees fill the air. The sound of the crackling logs burning in the fireplace creates the coziness that only comes at this time of year. Outside, the snow fall makes the whole world look lustrous, twinkling and glistening in the moonlight. It is a time to celebrate and remember friends and loved ones.

The right holiday playlist evokes all kinds of emotions, excitement as the season begins, the innocent anticipation of children waiting for Santa Claus, to the festive brilliance of holiday parties. Some Christmas music brings feelings of romance for that special someone, or the bittersweet feeling of loved ones that can't be with you, but always have a warm place in your heart. Most of all Christmas music is about love, home, and family.

As I sit at my desk, warmed by the hearth, writing out my holiday greeting cards, I thought I would share with you some of the music that is my companion during this wonderful time of year.
